Breville 58mm Bottomless Portafilter - Walnut Timber Handle

セール価格¥10,600

The full-size Breville 58mm portafilter in walnut - for the Dual Boiler, Oracle and Oracle Touch and Jet. A solid walnut timber handle, 304 stainless steel basket and spoutless bottomless design. Walnut's darker, classic grain reads beautifully against the stainless and black of Breville's prosumer machines - the rich middle ground between our almond and sandalwood finishes.

Why You'll Love It

* Naked extraction: remove the spouts, see the shot, diagnose and fix channelling directly.
* Rich walnut timber handle: dense, dark-grained hardwood that improves in look and feel with use.

* 304 stainless stee: food-safe basket and collar built for daily use.

* Correct 58mm fit: machined to Breville's 58mm grouphead spec; locks in like your stock portafilter.

* Easier cleaning: no spout to trap old coffee; tap out and rinse between shots.

* Upgrade the whole grouphead: pair with our 58mm Group Head Upgrade Kit for a complete stainless overhaul.

Dialing In: Quick Setup Guide

Using your bottomless portafilter
A bottomless portafilter immediately reveals any inconsistency in your puck prep. Here's what to look for:

* Good extraction: a single stream forming from the centre of the basket, flowing cleanly and steadily - no spurting or splitting.

Channelling:multiple streams, spurting, or flow that starts off-centre. Usually an uneven tamp, uneven distribution, or a grind that's too coarse.

For consistent results: Distribute your grounds evenly before tamping - a WDT tool or distributor helps.

Tamp level and firm - around 15kg is the common benchmark, but consistency matters more than the exact number.

Keep your grind fresh and consistent.
Seeing channelling? Check your tamp first, then adjust the grind finer.

Pairing tip: combine with our High Diffusion 54mm shower screen. The screen evens water distribution from above; the bottomless portafilter shows you the result below. Together they're the fastest route to consistently better espresso.

Why go bottomless on a 58mm machine?

Breville's 58mm machines - the Dual Boiler, Oracle and Oracle Touch - are serious bits of kit, and they deserve serious accessories. The stock spouted portafilter hides the extraction from you; going bottomless gives you direct visual feedback on every shot. For Oracle and Oracle Touch owners using automatic dosing, it makes it easy to see whether the auto-dose is distributing evenly or needs a tweak - the fastest diagnostic tool you can add to the workflow.

The walnut handle

Same profile as the almond version - the difference is entirely in the timber. Walnut has a darker, denser grain that develops a patina with use. Held next to almond, it reads as the richer, more formal of the two, and against stainless or black machines it looks genuinely premium. If you're building a matched set - portafilter, tamper, distributor - walnut handles unify the look cleanly.
