Triple-Spring Calibrated Self-Levelling Tamper - Walnut & Black
30-day returns on unused items
Triple-spring calibrated pressure
Where a standard tamper relies entirely on your hand to judge pressure, this one is calibrated to release at a consistent 30lb (13kg) - the barista benchmark - every time you press. Push down until you hear and feel the click, and you've applied exactly the same force as your last shot. No guesswork, no heavy-handed days, no light ones.
Self-levelling head
The support collar keeps the tamper vertical and the head levels itself flat against the puck as you press, so you get an even bed edge to edge even if you're not pressing perfectly square. Level in, level out - one of the biggest levers on a clean, channel-free extraction.
Rippled base
The base carries a fine concentric ripple rather than a flat face, which increases the surface contact between water and coffee at the top of the puck to help promote a more even, efficient extraction.
Built to last
An aluminium alloy body and support collar, a stainless steel base, and a solid timber (or matte black) handle - substantial in the hand and made to hold up to daily use. The non-trapping structure also wipes clean easily, so grounds have nowhere to hide.
